BMKG Forecasts Light Rain in Parts of Jakarta This Afternoon

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts light rain will hit parts of Jakarta on Monday afternoon and continue into the evening.

The BMKG, via its official Instagram page @infobmkg, stated that West Jakarta, East Jakarta, and South Jakarta will experience light rain from the afternoon until evening.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are predicted to be partly cloudy from the afternoon until evening.

The Thousand Islands are predicted to be partly cloudy in the afternoon, then experience hazy skies—a condition where visibility is reduced due to dust or air pollution—at night.

Meanwhile, in the morning, the entire administrative city of Jakarta is predicted to be partly cloudy, while the Thousand Islands Regency is expected to be partly cloudy.

During the afternoon, five areas of the city—West Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta—are predicted to be partly cloudy, and the Thousand Islands are predicted to be partly cloudy.

The temperature in Jakarta this Monday is 28 degrees Celsius.
