Model Presley Gerber, Son of Cindy Crawford, Dies at 27

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presley Walker Gerber, better known as Presley Gerber, the model and only son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27.

Gerber died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, as reported by TMZ. An autopsy had not yet been completed.

A representative for Crawford, Rande Gerber and their daughter, model and actress Kaia Gerber, confirmed Presley’s death to TMZ and Deadline.

“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” the family said in a statement.

Presley Gerber’s Modeling Career

Gerber began his modeling career with a 2015 photo shoot by fashion photographer Bruce Weber. He later signed with IMG Models and worked on runway shows during fashion weeks around the world.

In 2018, Gerber appeared alongside his mother in a Pepsi advertisement, continuing a career that followed his family’s longstanding ties to the fashion industry.

His younger sister, Kaia Gerber, is also a model and actress. She currently stars as Susan Reynolds in Ryan Murphy’s The Shards.

Presley Gerber’s 2019 DUI Case

According to Deadline, in January 2019, Gerber was arrested for driving under the influence in Beverly Hills.

Later that year, he was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to complete a DUI program and two days of community service.

Gerber was the only son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.
