Samsung Brings Real-Time Visual AI to Galaxy S25 Series with Gemini Update

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Samsung is bringing a new experience to its users through artificial intelligence, or AI, called Gemini Live. Galaxy S25 users can now interact visually and in real-time with AI.

Samsung Electronics' Executive Vice President of Mobile Experience Business, Jay Kim, said this new interaction model aligns with users' lifestyles. In Samsung's written statement on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, Samsung is taking bold steps towards the future of mobile AI with Google.

Through Gemini Live, users only need to press and hold the button on the side of the device to show the AI the object they are looking at. The smart technology will engage in direct conversation.

Users can use the visual conversation with AI to choose clothing or rearrange their closet. Users can receive input by pointing the camera at an object, such as how to group items and utilize space. Users can also share the screen with AI while browsing online stores for style recommendations.

With the ability to see and respond in real time, the Galaxy S25 experience becomes more personal, like getting help from a trusted friend. The new Gemini Live feature was launched on April 7 and is already available to all Galaxy S25 users for free.

According to Kim, the Galaxy S25's new visual capability sets a new standard for next-generation AI technology. He said it's about how users interact with the world through their devices.
