TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Indonesia’s state-owned fuel distribution company, has assured that subsidized fuel supply, particularly Pertalite, remains stable and that distribution across all fuel stations continues normally in line with government assignments.
“Beyond ensuring Pertalite stock availability and normal distribution across all fuel stations, Pertamina Patra Niaga also continuously monitors real-time stock levels and fuel distribution across all regions so that public needs can be properly met,” Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, said in a written statement confirmed by Antara in Jakarta on Saturday.
Roberth said the company is optimizing its energy supply chain management through a network of fuel terminals, distribution and storage facilities, transport fleets, and an integrated monitoring system across Indonesia.
He added that the measures aim to ensure sustainable energy availability for the public.
With infrastructure spanning from Sabang to Merauke, Pertamina is able to maintain supply reliability and respond quickly to potential increases in demand in specific regions, he said.
“We continue to coordinate with all stakeholders, particularly through our operational units across eight regional offices, to implement anticipatory measures to ensure energy services for the public run optimally,” Roberth said.
If demand increases in certain areas, he added, Pertamina has prepared distribution reinforcement schemes to maintain supply stability.
He also emphasized that fuel distribution is carried out in accordance with government regulations.
“We urge the public to use energy wisely by purchasing fuel according to their needs, its designated purpose, and the type of vehicle used. Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to carry out its distribution duties optimally and ensure Pertalite availability for the public remains secure,” he said.
