TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, as reported by Antara on Monday, October 6, 2025, has stated that holders of all types of visas can perform the Umrah pilgrimage while in the kingdom's territory.
On Sunday, the Saudi Ministry stated that this step is part of the effort to simplify Umrah implementation procedures and expand access to services within the Hajj and Umrah system. This effort aligns with the goals of Vision 2030.
The Ministry explained that the visas mentioned include personal and family visit visas, electronic tourist visas, transit visas, work visas, as well as other types of visas.
This step reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to facilitating the arrival of Muslims from around the world to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
Additionally, the ministry mentioned the recent launch of the Nusuk Umrah platform, which allows individuals to perform Umrah directly. This platform allows users to easily select and manage suitable Umrah permit packages electronically.
This integrated digital platform also allows users to book services and choose flexible Umrah execution times.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah emphasizes that these conveniences reflect the concern of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in supporting Muslims to visit the Two Holy Mosques.
The government of Saudi Arabia aims to provide Muslims with a safe and spiritual environment in which to perform their rituals, while offering high-quality services that enrich the experience and facilitate the pilgrimage journey.
