Advanced technology in mobile phone cameras will not work optimally if the lens is dirty or blurry. A dirty lens can affect the image quality, causing the photos to appear blurry or foggy. Therefore, maintaining the cleanliness of the mobile phone camera lens is essential to ensure the optimal photo quality.
Quoted from Gadgets Now, here are 9 tips for cleaning the phone:
1. Turn off the phone first
Before starting the cleaning process, it is advisable to turn off the phone to prevent accidental damage during the cleaning process.
2. Use a microfiber cloth
The camera lens is very prone to scratches, so the best cleaner is a soft microfiber cloth. This cloth effectively cleans stains without damaging the lens glass surface.
3. Pay attention to the area around the lens
Not only the lens, but other parts such as the flash, sensor, and microphone around it also need to be cleaned. Dust in these areas can affect the photo quality.
4. Utilize special cleaning fluid
If the lens appears very dirty, use lens cleaning fluid. Apply a small amount of fluid to a microfiber cloth, then gently wipe. Ensure the lens is completely dry afterwards.
5. Use a soft-bristled brush for tight crevices
When the cloth cannot reach certain areas, a soft brush can be the solution. This tool helps to remove small dirt in corners without causing scratches.
6. Do not apply fluid directly to the lens
Avoid dripping fluid directly onto the lens or phone body, as it may damage the camera components. Always apply the fluid to the cloth first.
7. Avoid rough or sharp objects
Sharp objects for phones, such as pins, needles, or SIM ejectors, should not be used as they can leave permanent scratches on the lens glass.
8. Clean with gentle pressure
When wiping the lens, use light movements without applying too much pressure. Excessive pressure can cause the lens to shift or get scratched.
9. Avoid touching the lens with fingers
Fingerprints or oil from the hands can leave marks on the mobile phone camera lens. Therefore, it is best to avoid touching the lens with fingers or palms. If accidentally touched, immediately clean with a clean, soft cloth to maintain the lens quality.
