TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bank Indonesia (BI) records net foreign capital outflows of Rp1.19 trillion last week, from October 6 to 10, 2025. "Net sales of Rp1.19 trillion in Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI)," said Executive Director of BI's Communications Department, Ramdan Denny Prakoso, in a written statement quoted on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Year-to-date, Indonesia has recorded Rp53.45 trillion from equities and Rp132 trillion from SRBI.
On the other hand, last week's inflows reached Rp6.43 trillion, with net sales of Rp2.48 trillion in equities and Rp5.14 trillion in government securities (SBN). The total net inflows of foreign capital year-to-date are Rp26.46 trillion in SBN.
Meanwhile, Indonesia's five-year credit default swap (CDS) edged higher at 78.37 basis points (bps) on October 9, 2025, up from 77.22 bps on October 3.
On Thursday, rupiah closed weaker at Rp16,540 per US dollar, with the 10-year SBN yield rate down to 6.10 percent.
A day later, rupiah opened stronger at Rp16,560 per US dollar, while 10-year SBN yield slipped further to 6.07 percent.
Denny assured Bank Indonesia continues to work with the government and relevant authorities to optimize the policy mix to support Indonesia's external economic resilience.
