TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts rain with thunderstorms and strong winds this afternoon in parts of Greater Jakarta. On Saturday, October 18, 2025, rain is likely to fall in some areas of South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok City, Bekasi Regency and City, South Tangerang City, Depok City, as well as Bogor Regency and City.
Referring to the latest 24-hour weather forecast from BMKG, the Greater Jakarta region was mostly cloudy throughout the early hours of this morning. This weather condition will persist until noon. However, there is a potential for light rain in Bogor.
Rain is predicted to become more widespread starting in the evening, around 07:00 p.m. local time. Light rain is expected to drizzle over South Jakarta and East Jakarta. Similar weather forecast also applies to Depok City, Bekasi Regency and City, South Tangerang City, and Tangerang Regency. At the same time, rain will continue in Bogor, and may even become heavier, accompanied by thunderstorms.
The BMKG team recorded that the air humidity in Greater Jakarta ranges from 60-94 percent throughout the day. The air temperature in several parts of the region will range from 24-32 degrees Celsius, except in Bogor, where the lowest temperature could drop to 18 degrees Celsius.
