Indonesia's Isyana Sarasvati Joins Lollapalooza India 2027 Lineup

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian singer-songwriter Isyana Sarasvati is set to perform at Lollapalooza India 2027, joining an international lineup that includes Olivia Dean, Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, K-pop girl group KATSEYE, American rock band Limp Bizkit and singer-songwriter St. Vincent.

According to the official site of Lollapalooza India, the festival is scheduled for January 23-24, 2027, in Mumbai, India. This marks another major international appearance for the Indonesian musician, whose work spans pop, classical composition, progressive rock and heavier music.

Isyana shared the news with her fans in an Instagram post on September 3, featuring a childhood photo alongside a message celebrating the unexpected opportunity.

“HEY LITTLE INYOOOO, WE’RE GOING TO LOLLAPALOOZA 2027!!! Again, life is always full of surprises, and I'm so proud we've come this far! With melody and rhythm, always,” she wrote.

Rolling Stone India Highlights Isyana's Diverse Sound

Isyana's inclusion has also drawn attention from Rolling Stone India, which highlighted the Indonesian artist's genre-spanning career and her significance within the festival's international lineup.

“And Indonesia’s Isyana Sarasvati, whose work has moved through pop, classical composition, progressive rock and heavier music, is a welcome reminder that ‘international’ programming in India need not always mean looking westward,” Rolling Stone India wrote.

The observation underscores Isyana's position as a Southeast Asian artist whose musical identity extends beyond mainstream pop.

Trained in classical music, she has gradually expanded her sound into progressive rock and heavier music, particularly through her 2019 album LEXICON and 2023 album ISYANA.

She also explored metal through “IL SOGNO,” including a version recorded with Indonesian metal band DeadSquad, before continuing that genre-spanning approach on her fifth album, EKLEKTIKO, released in 2026.

Isyana's appearance at Lollapalooza India will introduce that genre-blending approach to a wider audience in India.

Lollapalooza India 2027 will take place over two days in Mumbai on January 23-24, bringing together artists from different genres and parts of the world.

For Isyana, the festival adds another major international stage to her career and places an Indonesian artist in a lineup alongside some of the biggest names in contemporary global music.
