TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Daya Intiguna Yasa Tbk (IDX: MDIY), also known as MR DIY Indonesia, posted a net profit of Rp1.1 trillion in 2024, marking a 205.6 percent increase. The profit outpaced its annual revenue growth of 73.9 percent, which reached Rp6.8 trillion.
“This strong profit growth reflects the company’s ability to expand efficiently while continuing to drive margin improvements and enhance operational effectiveness,” President Director Edwin Cheah said in a written statement on Thursday, March 27.
Despite a dynamic industry landscape, Edwin noted that the company’s solid performance is backed by a strong business foundation. He described the achievement as a result of an expansion strategy focused not just on growth but also on long-term sustainability.
"By maintaining operational excellence and prioritizing customer experience, MR DIY Indonesia is well-positioned to further strengthen its leadership in Indonesia’s home improvement retail industry," he said.
In 2024, MR DIY expanded its footprint by opening new stores and increasing transaction volume. The company added 270 new outlets last year, bringing its total store count to 961, spanning 389 cities across 37 provinces from Sabang to Merauke.
Edwin added that MR DIY Indonesia continues to expand into second- and third-tier cities to provide broader access to affordable and comprehensive home improvement products.
“With an extensive store network, MR DIY Indonesia stands out among its peers, further cementing its position as the country’s largest home improvement retailer,” he said.
