TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The highly anticipated Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2025 is set to open its doors from Thursday, June 19, to Saturday, July 13, 2025, at the JIExpo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta. A day before the opening, preparations are nearly complete, with workers bustling to arrange booths, tidy products, and ensure every corner is ready to welcome millions of visitors.

In the open-air area, a grand stage stands tall, ready to host the Jakarta Fair Music Concert (JFMC). For 25 days, dozens of musicians from various genres will perform. Surrounding the stage, numerous booths from the food, beverage, fashion, and automotive sectors are neatly arranged, with some in their final stages of setup.

Meanwhile, indoor halls like A, B1, B2, C1, C2, and D are also abuzz with exhibition participants meticulously arranging their diverse products. From fashion and cosmetics to household furniture, these halls are primed to welcome visitors.

Southeast Asia's Largest Product Exhibition

The Jakarta Fair is renowned as Southeast Asia's largest and longest multi-product exhibition. This annual event has become a major business and entertainment magnet, coinciding with Jakarta's 498th anniversary celebration this year.

More than 2,700 tenants will participate in JFK 2025, showcasing a wide array of products across various sectors. These include automotive (cars and motorcycles), gadgets and computers, sports equipment, fashion, household appliances, furniture, electronics, creative industries, crafts, herbal products, cosmetics, financial and banking services, and a diverse culinary selection from across Indonesia.

Entertainment Galore, Music Concerts, and Fireworks

Beyond shopping, JFK 2025 promises a rich variety of entertainment. The committee has curated events such as a carnival parade, children's play rides, the Miss Jakarta Fair pageant, and the spectacular fireworks display that is a cherished hallmark of the Jakarta Fair.

Music lovers are in for a treat, as concerts will be held daily for the full 25 days, featuring genres from rock, pop, jazz, dangdut, dangdut koplo, to punk. Headline performers include top musicians such as Slank, Tipe-X, The Sigit, The Adams, NDX AKA, Maliq & D'Essentials, Tonny Q, and Feel Koplo, among others.

Jakarta Fair 2025 will be open every day with the following schedule:

Monday-Friday: 3:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Jakarta time)
Saturday, Sunday & National Holidays: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Jakarta time)

Regular entrance ticket prices (without concert access):

Monday: Rp40,000
Tuesday-Friday: Rp50,000
Saturday-Sunday & National Holidays: Rp60,000

Bundling tickets (entrance + concert) are available in two categories:

Regular: Rp80,000 - Rp120,000
VIP: Rp100,000 - Rp120,000

Ambitious Transaction Targets

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo expressed optimism that the total transactions at Jakarta Fair 2025 could surpass Rp7.5 trillion, even with its shorter duration compared to last year. In 2024, the Jakarta Fair recorded a transaction value of Rp7.5 trillion with 6.3 million visitors.

"Even though the implementation is shorter because the location was used for the Indo Defence 2025 exhibition, I believe that this year's achievement can exceed last year's," Pramono said during the opening night on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

The opening event was also attended by Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, who lauded the Jakarta Fair as a legendary event that serves as a crucial meeting point for business actors at local, national, and international levels.

The Jakarta Fair is an integral part of the city's birthday celebrations, which fall on June 22. With its "one-stop shopping and entertainment" concept, the event is expected to be a favorite destination for family recreation and shopping, as well as a significant economic driver for the city.
