TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi will experience light to moderate rain from noon to night on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Some areas are expected to experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms. Before the rain, the weather is observed to be heavily overcast.

Meanwhile, in the Tangerang area, it is likely to be predominantly overcast. This situation is monitored through the official website bmkg.go.id and BMKG's official Instagram.

Light to moderate rain is likely to fall in West Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta at 16:00-19:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time), while in Central Jakarta and the Thousand Islands, light rain is expected to fall at 16:00 WIB.

Overall, the temperature in the Jakarta area is estimated to range from 25-31 degrees Celsius, while the wind speed is around 1-10 kilometers per hour.

In West Java, light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are likely to occur in Bogor Regency, Bogor City, Depok City, and Bekasi Regency at 13:00-19:00 WIB. In Bekasi City, light to moderate rain is predicted to fall between 16:00-19:00 WIB.

The temperature in Bogor Regency is around 19-33 degrees Celsius, while in other areas it ranges from 21-33 degrees Celsius. The wind speed is estimated to be around 4-12 kilometers per hour.

In Banten, the Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, and South Tangerang City areas are expected to be predominantly overcast. The temperature is estimated to range from 25-26 degrees Celsius with air humidity around 87-96 percent.
