Djarum Group Buys Rp1.04 Trillion Worth of Hermina Shares

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), the company behind Hermina Hospital, announced the sale of 559.18 million shares valued at approximately Rp1.04 trillion on June 25, 2025. The buyer of these shares is PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan, a business entity affiliated with the Djarum Group.

HEAL’s Deputy CEO, Yulisa Khiat, stated that following this transaction, the company no longer holds any treasury shares. The shares purchased by the Djarum Group were originally part of a previous buyback by Hermina.

“The recipient of the transfer is PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan,” Yulisa said in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, quoted on Friday, June 27, 2025.

Yulisa clarified that there is no affiliate relationship between Hermina and Dwimuria Investama.

In the first quarter of 2025, Hermina Hospital reported a 0.82 percent decline in revenue. From January to March 2025, the company posted revenue of Rp1.6 trillion, slightly lower than the Rp1.7 trillion recorded in the same period in 2024.

Inpatient services generated the largest portion of revenue, reaching Rp998 billion. This included Rp371.3 billion from inpatient care, Rp279 billion from drugs and medical supplies, and Rp188 billion from medical services, among others.

Outpatient care contributed Rp622 billion in revenue. This figure includes Rp256 billion from drugs and medical supplies, Rp197 billion from clinic services, and Rp109 billion from medical support and diagnostic services.

Net profit for the first quarter of 2025 stood at Rp160.5 billion, marking a decrease from Rp243.9 billion during the same period in 2024.

By the end of 2024, the Hermina Hospital network had grown to 52 hospitals operating in 63 cities across 17 provinces in Indonesia.

This expansion brought the total number of hospital beds to 7,613. The growth included the inauguration of Hermina Nusantara Hospital as the 50th facility and Hermina PIK II Hospital as the 52nd in the network.
