Hammersonic Festival 2026 Goes Invitation-Only, Ticket Refunds Open

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Hammersonic Festival 2026 will still be held as scheduled, but in a revised “private festival” format, meaning it will no longer be open to the public and will only be accessible by invitation.

Organizer Ravel Entertainment also announced a refund mechanism for ticket holders who choose not to attend.

“The decisions we have made are intended to ensure the continuity of Hammersonic Festival 2026, while also ensuring that fans who truly wish to attend can still experience the festival,” the company said in an official statement on Thursday.

The organizer stressed that its priority is to ensure valid ticket holders can still attend the event, which is scheduled for May 2–3, 2026, at NICE Jakarta.

For those opting for refunds, applications will be open on April 27–28, 2026. After requesting a refund, buyers will no longer be able to purchase tickets, as official sales will be permanently closed.

“Once a refund has been processed, ticket purchases will no longer be available, as ticket sales will be officially closed,” the statement said.

Ravel Entertainment also adjusted ticket prices from Rp1,099,000 to Rp550,000 for a two-day pass (excluding tax), effectively setting the per-day price at Rp275,000. Only two-day passes will be sold.

Those who do not request refunds will still be able to attend the festival. Early-bird ticket holders will also receive a special policy allowing one ticket to be used by two people.

Limited access ticket sales remain available through an invitation system sent via direct message to the official Instagram account @hammersonicfest, using a unique code and very limited quota. General public sales will not be reopened.

Ravel said the changes were made after considering current conditions and fan responses, aiming to ensure the festival runs in a more controlled format while still accommodating dedicated attendees.

“This is honestly not the announcement I wanted to make. I know many of you have been waiting, planning, and imagining what it would feel like to stand in that crowd,” said Ravel Entertainment CEO Ravel Junardy.

“I sincerely apologize to all Hammerheads who have always supported me and Hammersonic Festival,” he added.

Previously, several acts withdrew from the lineup due to global geopolitical disruptions that affected flight schedules, including New Found Glory, The Story So Far, and The Haunted—circumstances beyond the promoter’s control.

Despite the cancellations, new performers were added, including Dashboard Confessional, Ellegarden, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, EMNW, Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights, Jinjer, Carpathian Forest, Agnostic Front, Eyehategod, and Lich King.

The organizer expressed hope that the adjustments will be received with understanding and that Hammersonic Festival 2026 will proceed as scheduled under its revised format.
