Prabowo Forms Economic Growth Task Force, Chaired by Minister Airlangga

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto has established a task force to accelerate government programs to bolster economic growth. The task force is outlined under Presidential Decree No. 4 of 2026 signed by Prabowo on March 11, 2026.

This task force operates under the direct authority of President Prabowo, and co-chaired by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.

Meanwhile, several high-ranking officials hold deputy chair positions, including Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Investment and Downstream Industry Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, and National Development Planning Minister/Head of the National Development Planning Agency Rachmat Pambudy.

The task force consists of 27 ministers and agency heads. Some of them include Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian, Manpower Minister Yassierli, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman, Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana, and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Prabowo mandates the task force to work to accelerate government programs to support economic growth. These programs include economic incentive programs, government priority programs, key programs in several ministries/agencies, and other programs based on Prabowo's directives.

In addition, the task force determines integrated and collaborative strategic measures to accelerate the implementation of government programs to support economic growth. Furthermore, the task force is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the realization of budget allocations supporting the implementation of government programs to support economic growth.

The group is also tasked with determining strategic resolution steps in an innovative and prompt manner. The task force will also carry out other duties assigned by Prabowo.
