TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics is partnering with OpenAI, the artificial intelligence company behind ChatGPT, to integrate its products into Samsung's internal operations.
This marks the largest collaboration in OpenAI's history, as ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex will be made available to all Samsung Electronics employees.
The implementation of ChatGPT Enterprise within Samsung branches is designed to facilitate both technical and non-technical teams. Employees can leverage this AI tool to expedite data analysis, macro information searches, corporate document compilation, and the process of brainstorming new product ideas.
OpenAI ensures that this enterprise variant is equipped with high-level data security guarantees, strict access controls, and full compliance with Samsung's internal governance and privacy policies.
"Samsung is accelerating AI adoption internally as it has externally for the past few years," as reported by GSM Arena on Monday, June 22, 2026.
Meanwhile, for the Codex platform, OpenAI positions this tool as a key pillar to support software development activities and workflow automation within Samsung's corporate ecosystem. This simultaneously adds innovation to the platform, which previously focused solely on coding tools.
