TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Eight months after completing his term as Member VI of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), Pius Lustrilanang was appointed commissioner of state mining company Aneka Tambang on June 12, 2025. A year later, at the annual shareholders meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, he was reappointed to the same post.
Despite his new position, he remained involved with financial oversight. “On the board of commissioners, Pak Pius serves as chairperson of the audit committee,” Antam President Commissioner Irwandy Arif told Tempo on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
Irwandy’s office is on the same floor as Pius’ workspace, but on that day the Gerindra Party politician was not present. Irwandy said Pius was otherwise an active commissioner.
Pius served as a member of the BPK from 2019 until October 2024. He did not seek a second term. Toward the end of his tenure, he became entangled in a bribery scandal involving audit findings in Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua, in 2023.
