TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The 2025 Ballon d'Or awards, honoring the world's best players, were held at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France, on Monday, September 22, 2025. Ousmane Dembele was named the best male player, while Aitana Bonmati received the award for best female player.

Dembele, who delivered a historic treble for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) by leading them to victory in the French League, French Cup, and Champions League, triumphed over second-place Lamine Yamal of Barcelona in a poll of journalists worldwide.

Meanwhile, Bonmatí secured her third consecutive Ballon d'Or for her outstanding performance with Barcelona.
