TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Facing the possibility of an imminent US attack on Iran, Chinese satellite company MizarVision continues to document the movements of US military aircraft in the region. On Friday, as reported by Ynet, MizarVision published new images from the Israeli Ovda airbase, as well as ones in Qatar, Crete, and Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

The satellite images show that the United States continues to transfer aircraft and military equipment to the Ovda Airbase in southern Israel.

The satellite images indicate 11 F-22 fighter jets that have arrived in the past few days, four of which are on the runway. The company also released an image of a C-17 transport aircraft that, according to the report, is delivering equipment to the base.

Additional images released on Friday from the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar show that there are no remaining US aerial refueling aircraft at the facility, while many such aircraft are parked at the Ben Gurion Airport in Israel. According to the latest images, 12 transport aircraft are still at Al Udeid—six C-17s and six C-130s—along with three attack helicopters.

On Thursday, MizarVision released images from the Qatar base showing that the US military had left relatively few aircraft there: one KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft, which may have departed, two C-130 medium transport aircraft, and approximately seven armed helicopters.

Footage from the Chania Airport in Crete, Greece, also shows US military assets, including about eight aerial refueling aircraft, two RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft, F-15 fighter jets, and a medium transport aircraft.

In Diego Garcia, often referred to as the "bomber island," approximately 14 US Air Force aircraft were documented on Friday morning, including fighter jets, refueling aircraft, transport aircraft, and the P-8 aircraft used for surveillance, maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare, and anti-ship missions.

At the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, a number of aircraft are visible, including KC-135 refueling aircraft and the E-11A aircraft used for command and control.

In recent weeks, the United States has deployed additional troops to the region, as the possibility of an attack on Iran looms despite ongoing negotiations.

Founded five years ago, MizarVision has attracted attention for routinely providing high-resolution satellite images of strategically important areas, including military installations and aircraft carriers.

Since the United States began moving its troops to the Middle East, the company has been tracking and reporting the movements and placements of troops. The company also heavily utilizes artificial intelligence models to identify objects in satellite images and monitor changes in assets and facilities.

Experts say that the company's publications highlight China's intelligence-gathering capabilities. The strict monitoring of US troop movements, bases, and other strategic assets underscores Beijing's ability to track high-value targets in real time and potentially act on them.

Amid ongoing contacts between Iran and the United States—and the continued possibility of confrontation—MizarVision has, in recent weeks, not only released satellite images but also updates detailing the number and types of US aircraft deployed in various locations, as well as its air defense systems.
