TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - By the end of this year, Dubai will open the tallest hotel in the world, Ciel Tower. With a height of 365 meters, this hotel will encompass 82 floors and will have over 1,000 rooms. Currently, the title of the tallest hotel in the world is held by the Gevora Hotel in Dubai, which stands at a height of 356 meters and is recognized by the Guinness World Records.
The Ciel Tower, which is a part of the Vignette Collection by IHG Hotels & Resorts, is equipped with several extraordinary facilities for guests. One of them is the world's highest infinity pool located on the 76th floor. Additionally, there is a 360-degree observation deck on the 81st floor, where guests can overlook Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, and the Arabian Gulf. Guests can enjoy the iconic view of the city, which may rival the Burj Khalifa.
This new luxury hotel will also feature a state-of-the-art fitness center and a sophisticated lounge with spectacular views, as well as a special children's pool. On the 16th floor, there is the NEST Executive Lounge that offers tranquil comfort with a horizon view.
For dining, guests can choose from 10 bars and restaurants spread throughout the hotel. The rooms are expected to have panoramic glass windows from floor to ceiling, allowing guests to enjoy the Dubai view while relaxing in their rooms. Out of the 1,004 hotel rooms, fewer than 150 rooms will be suites, designed to offer Dubai-style luxury for guests.
Ciel Tower is located in Dubai Marina, a hub for water sports and a popular spot for luxury cruises.
Hotel Developers and Designers
The property developer of Ciel Tower is The First Group, based in Dubai. They stated that with Ciel's 365-meter height in Dubai Marina, it will set a new benchmark as the tallest hotel in the world upon completion.
"More than an architectural masterpiece, Ciel is a global icon and The First Group’s largest and most luxurious project to date," the company stated as reported by Daily Mail, July 9, 2025.
This hotel adds a new attraction to Dubai, which was recently named the world's third most popular tourist destination by TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards.
