TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled a questioning of two witnesses in the alleged graft case in the Secretariat General of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of Indonesia. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the probing is scheduled for today, Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

"The KPK has scheduled a witness examination in the alleged gratification case linked to a procurement within the People's Consultative Assembly," said Budi in an official statement today.

The witnesses are Zakaria and Ricky Irawan, who are both private sector employees. Budi stated that the probing will take place at the Red and White Building of the KPK in South Jakarta.

KPK previously probed Kartika Indriati Sekarsari as the Official in Charge of Procurement of Goods and Services within the Secretariat General of the MPR for the period 2020 to 2023, as well as Darojat Agung Sasmita Aji, a member of the Working Group for the Procurement of Goods and Services (Pokja-UKPBJ) at the Secretariat General of the MPR in 2020.

The anti-graft agency has summoned several witnesses before that, including Cucu Riwayati, who served as the Official in Charge of Goods and Services Procurement for delivery and duplication at the Secretariat General of the MPR from 2020 to 2021, and Fahmi Idris, a member of the Working Group for the Procurement of Goods and Services (Pokja-UKPBJ) at the Secretariat General of the MPR in 2020. The examination was conducted on Monday, June 23, 2025.

From this examination, witnesses were questioned about the process of procurement of goods and services at the time the alleged gratification took place.

Budi stated that the KPK has named one suspect in this case. Based on preliminary calculations, the estimated value of the alleged gratification involved amounts to Rp17 billion. He also emphasized that the suspect is a state official.

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the KPK summoned Dyastasita Widya Budi as the Official Authorizing Officer (PPK) for activities in the Conference and Socialization Bureau of the Secretariat General of the MPR for the 2020 fiscal year, as well as Joni Jondriman, the Head of the Procurement of Goods and Services Unit (UKPBJ) at the Secretariat General of the MPR in 2020.

Previously, the Secretary General of the MPR, Siti Fauziah, stated that the leadership of the MPR for the periods 2019-2024 and 2024-2029 was not involved in the alleged gratification case. The case is suspected to have occurred from 2019 to 2021 and is currently being investigated by the KPK.

"The MPR leadership was not involved because the case is the administrative and technical responsibility of the secretariat, or in this case the Secretary General of the MPR at that time, Ma'ruf Cahyono," said Siti as quoted from Antara.
