Upin & Ipin Universe Game Opens Pre-Orders Before July 17 Launch,

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The game Upin & Ipin Universe, inspired by the popular Malaysian animated series, is set to launch on July 17, 2025, across various gaming platforms.

As of Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the official Upin & Ipin Universe website announced that the game is now available for wishlist and pre-order on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

The trailer for the game was first introduced via the Upin & Ipin Universe YouTube channel on June 8. It was later shared by PlayStation Japan and PlayStation Asia on their YouTube accounts five days ago.

The game, developed by Les' Copaque Production in collaboration with Streamline Studios, is also listed on the official Steam and Epic Games websites. Both platforms note that pre-orders will begin on July 17.

On PlayStation, the game will be available for both PS4 and PS5 users. In Asia, it can be purchased in countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In Europe, it will be accessible in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. In the Americas, users from Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru will be able to purchase the game.

For Nintendo Switch, purchases can be made by users in Korea, Hong Kong, Europe, Australia, and America. Meanwhile, on Steam and the Epic Games Store, the game will be available globally.

The game follows the daily lives of twin brothers Upin and Ipin along with their family members, Kak Ros and Opah, as well as their friends from Tadika Mesra Kindergarten. It features open-world gameplay that allows players to explore various locations on the map.

Developers have recreated the atmosphere of Kampung Durian Runtuh, the village where the twins live, reflecting the rural landscape of Southeast Asia with rice fields surrounding the homes.

Players will face a variety of challenges and interactive missions alongside other characters from the original series. One scene featured in the trailer includes making fried chicken, the twins’ favorite dish.
