Fact Check: Analyzing AI in "Prabowo for Global Peace" Song

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Hundreds of social media posts have uploaded snippets of the song Prabowo for Global Peace. The circulating narrative claims the song was composed by international musicians as a tribute to President Prabowo Subianto's role in world peace. However, some suspect the song is an AI-generated product.

The video features clips of Prabowo's foreign visits and his record as a soldier. Sung by a male voice in both English and Indonesian, the lyrics read: "Prabowo, the President, a bridge to unite, carrying Indonesia's spirit of peace, He steps onto the stage, where darkness meets light, working for a world where all wars cease."

Since October 2025, Tempo has recorded at least 184 accounts on Instagram [archive], Facebook, and TikTok sharing the clip. These videos have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.

Tempo's Fact-Checking Team verified the song's authenticity by tracing its origins, using AI-detection software, and collaborating with the Deepfakes Analysis Unit (DAU) of the Trusted Information Alliance (TIA) in India. The verification results indicated that the song was not composed by an international musician, but was instead a product of AI technology.

Digital Footprint on YouTube Channels

Tempo noted that no international musicians have claimed authorship or vocal credits for "Prabowo for Global Peace." A search indicated the track originated from the YouTube channel Yeyen Novlien on October 25, 2025. Currently, the upload has exceeded 359,000 views.

The uploader explicitly included a label identifying the content as modified or synthetic. Following YouTube's transparency guidelines, this label alerts viewers that the video was significantly modified or synthetically produced using artificial intelligence.

Yeyen Novlien's account, established on September 1, 2020, has 16,000 followers and 182 posts. The majority of her content consists of artificial intelligence songs, ranging from national themes to sahur music, religious music, and instrumental music.

Before releasing the song about Prabowo, Yeyen uploaded a video titled "Indonesia Mendunia! Dibuatkan Lagu Meksiko Berjudul Indonesia" on September 10, 2025. She also uploaded an Indonesian-themed song in Spanish on August 5, 2025. Both works included a modified or synthetic content label.

Analysis of the Deepfake Technology Behind the Song

The Deepfakes Analysis Unit (DAU) of the Trusted Information Alliance (TIA) in India concluded that the song was a product of deepfakes. Using the HIVE audio classifier, the DAU detected elements of deepfakes in a 10-second clip.

Tempo retested the clip using The Hive. The tool determined that 96.7 percent of the content was synthetic. Indications of AI generation were detected throughout almost all parts of the song. Meanwhile, the Truth Scan tool gave a score of 86 percent for the synthetic content category. Of the 14 fragments tested, 11 were identified as AI-generated, with scores above 80 percent.

Citing an article by the Goethe Institute, current developments in artificial intelligence allow systems to understand patterns, harmonies, and musical nuances. As a result, machine-generated works can compete with human compositions. Today, artificial intelligence models for music creation are increasingly diverse.

AI models are trained to analyze music data to learn sounds, structures, and expressions. Users provide text instructions or voice prompts to produce music. Artificial intelligence can create music in any language, with both male and female vocals. The platform produces tracks because it has "absorbed" hundreds of similar musical references.

However, this technological leap has sparked controversy. Companies developing artificial intelligence have been accused of copyright infringement by training their models without compensating the creators of the original work.
